The Knowledge of Nutrition is Necessary & Significant
There was an old Jamaican proverb, “It’s not the same day, a leaf falls to the bottom of the pond, it rots”. In other words, the consequences of one’s action may not be felt immediately until later in life.
For example, I never knew that many of our chronic (occurring over time) illnesses are diet related. Unhealthy eating habits can harm our bodies resulting in illnesses which may make our lives uncomfortable.
Altering the unhealthy way of eating is necessary for disease prevention. The knowledge and application of nutrition may accomplish that.

Celebrate with us, Because of Covid-19,there were restriction for large gatherings, since then there were no graduation celebrations.So it had finally happen. The 2020,2021and 2022 graduates from NYU, the future Registered Dietitians, Dietetics Technician and Nutrition advocates!! I’m truly grateful for our academic achievements, and for all the support we had during the pandemic (COVID -19, racial injustice, political rivalry and civil unrest are happening throughout the country) to make it possible. I know it wasn’t easy for those who were making the same journey. We are so grateful!
